PetuniaEpoch
Ass i said before i cant find this in my hiveet.ini can i just paste it on there and if so where do i paste it? I think on some setups this is missing be default (Vilayer I think I read)... In which case, be SURE it's not already there, and if it isn't, then try copy/pasting the one above :) If you want to disable it completely, change it to -1 Nox

Nox
Well ;Negative values will disable this feature;0 means that ALL empty placed items will be deleted every server restart;A positive number is how old (in days) a placed empty item must be, in order for it to be deleted;CleanupPlacedAfterDays = 6 I haven't this in HiveExt.ini I can Put it ;Negative values will disable this feature ;0 means that ALL empty placed items will be deleted every server restart;A positive number is how old (in days) a placed empty item must be, in order for it to be deleted;CleanupPlacedAfterDays = -1 And All is good ? Nothing remove :)
PetuniaEpoch
That should work - it should mean no placed items get cleaned up :) Just to be safe, below is a copy/paste from mine, which I know works too :) ;Negative values will disable this feature ;0 means that ALL empty placed items will be deleted every server restart ;A positive number is how old (in days) a placed empty item must be, in order for it to be deleted ;CleanupPlacedAfterDays = -

vbawol
you do need to remove the ; otherwise it will still use the default 6 days. Bungle and Nox

Armifer
You need to remove the ; as it's programming syntax, here it means it will comment out the line of code. If you do not remove the ; there will be no change. Only remove it from this line ;CleanupPlacedAfterDays = -1 Nox
Nox
yeah, thx :)
Connorbarnes
when you say remove the ; do you mean on every line of the code there? so it would be Negative values will disable this feature0 means that ALL empty placed items will be deleted every server restartA positive number is how old (in days) a placed empty item must be, in order for it to be deletedCleanupPlacedAfterDays = -1 Thanks
Bungle
Just removed from the line you wish to not have commented. ;Negative values will disable this feature;0 means that ALL empty placed items will be deleted every server restart;A positive number is how old (in days) a placed empty item must be, in order for it to be deletedCleanupPlacedAfterDays = -1 Think of ; as the // in the .ini world. EDIT: If you're using notepad ++ it should be sorta obvious with all "Commented" Areas being Green and actual running code coming up in Black Nox

Lyrdian
ok i posted on another thread but ill post on this one too: Stupid question. How do i get into my Hiveext.ini ? Filezilla won't take it, cant open it from the FTP on dayzCP. As an admin i can spawn in the shtako i need to remake but the area(s) we are using get kinda irritating to set up after 3 times doing so and we plan on using it for the longterm. Is there any other way to stop them from de-spawning?
Ronie111
Sorry guys, but by me is it not working... My Hiveext ;Negative values will disable this feature ;0 means that ALL empty placed items will be deleted every server restart ;A positive number is how old (in days) a placed empty item must be, in order for it to be deleted CleanupPlacedAfterDays = -1 Is something wrong by me? :-)
somma
Did you check your Database events? There is a event called "removeObjectsOld" ( i think. i'm not at home at the moment so tell me if i'm wrong). You'll have to delete the event or edit the interval there.
