Custom table in MySQL

I've noticed dayz epoch arma 2 mod uses hives to connect to mysql databases
I want to create a custom table in the MySQL database, will i be able to use the custom table if i create a new hive.. or is there another way?

The Hive is open source, you must modify it for your custom tables. The link below is my repo, which contains changes up-to-date with the 1.0.6.1 hiveExt.dll.

If you do not wish to modify and rebuild the hive DLL then you may use ExtDB. Look to the Virtual garage package for 1.0.6.1 for examples and a version of the extension that is compatible with ArmA 2
