themitch101 Posted May 7, 2016 Report Share Posted May 7, 2016 Hey everyone I am playing on a server with the title "the castle, hotspots, missions, mods, AI, oil rig" etc. If there is a mod for that server on here I need your help! Or if you can help me recover my gear without mod status somehow that is appreciated too. So here is what happened. Just me relaxing, playing epoch having a good old time. I finally got my own heli yesterday and found some expensive loot that I sold at the traders for a safe and a plot pole to build a base on the oil rig by cherno. I had been at the rig most of the day but hadn't actually started building yet when I took my boat to go check on some stuff. I came back and while swimming onto the platform to get onto the oil rig I clipped into the floor and died. My body sank. I came back and managed to repeat glitch, but my body had hit a support beam on the way down and my loot is now stuck on that. I can't get to it and the server will probably be resetting soon so I don't think I will ever be able to look it. On my body is the keys to my truck, rhib, and heli. Along with a lot of other stuff but that is not as important as the keys. I know the key ID for my heli key if that helps any. i was in the process of trying to get a kit to copy keys but I didn't have one yet. Is there any way for me to get a key for my vehicles now that I don't have them? The server is almost always empty so contacting an admin that way won't work. I need your help! Tl;Dr I lost the keys to my most important vehicles to a glitch and cannot get them back by looting the body because it is underwater. Is there anyway to get keys for my vehicles back? Or what would be a good way to contact a mod for the server to get help if there are never any online? Thanks! Not much we can do this is the forum for the epoch mod not the server you are playing on, if that server doesn't have a way to contact an admin then there's not much you can do. Bugs happen especially on custom buildings, move on gear up again maybe find a better server where you can get assistance if you need it. A good server will have people who can help, it might not be instant but anything you type in game is logged and can be monitored, a good admin will read chat logs. Good luck getting sorted out. But then you have the type of player that will go admin admin admin admin admin in chat...i died 5 min to restart and lost all my keys....
