When you place a stair on a wooden floor and upgrade them, it will always be higher (few millimeters) than floor which is placed on stud walls parallel to the stairs. Hope makes sense this explanation. :) And when you start building more stairs on top of other stairs bellow, the difference will be much more noticeable.I can take a screenshot, but I think it isn't that hard to imagine the result, a floor parallel to stairs which was place on stud walls, is lower than upgraded stairs (wooden part).The same issue is with wooden tower too, it is higher than ordinary stud wall with a floor on top of it.
