Ping Problems

RESOLVED

 

 

I run server from Vert host

When on server play only 1 player all is good, but when start to connect other players all get big ping problems.

Every 20 seconds ping grow up, then down as need to be then big ping again.

Cant figure it out from where this problem comes

Server have a3ai, R3F_LOG, ZEVMission, some sensor zones from mission.sqm, custom buildings serverside.

Also have @custom_mod include vehicles, weapon and uniforms where one pbo file i run from mission [] execVM "\custom_pbo\init.sqf";

i dissable all @custom mods, still ping problems

go through your rpt and try and fix any errors.

maybe try disabling lspawner these errors tell me that your buildings are not for the map your using. are you sing chenarus or another map?

 

next thing i see is

when you get errors like this, you need to add the classname into your mission.sqm addons section.

 

i see you have alot of diff mas vehicles

B_mas_HMMWV_M2_ in the rpt, but your server is not actually using the mas weapons or mas vehicles addons.

usually errors like this:

indicate corruption in the database. when i find these errors on my server i have to delete the db file and restart the server

Ping problems are associated with the host. Or with your basic.cfg not optimized for your connection if you are running dedicated server. And use

for long bits of code.

I will check ping with default server install, lets see is it host or my config problems

also note that the ping time of players effects your servers ping time as well, so usually a person will set up max ping of 350ms or something like that on their server so anyone over that will not be able to join.

 

if i remember correctly that is in the rcon config file under your battleye where  your filters are like scripts.txt etc.

Looking through the log you provided any kick that has the following reported

 

NetServer::SendMsg: cannot find channel xxxxxxxxxxx

NetServer: users.get failed when sending to xxxxxxxxx

Message not sent - error 0, message ID = ffffffff, to xxxxxxx

 

Seems to have your serverFPS as being <4 when recording the kick instead of the >20 that is being recorded when I assume the server is behaving.

 

So something is bogging the server down. Check scripts etc and double/triple/quadruple check everything tinboye has said in the second post.
