updates 0.3.0.3

Hello. How to do the updates correctly. I tried to do 0.3.0.3 without losing mission and other additives on the server. Now I do everything from scratch. Can someone write me what and how to update it for the future. Without data loss.

For 0.3.0.3 you just have to update the 2 server files, change the .dll, change the BE filters.

Then compare epochconfig.hpp and epochserver.ini, there were a few changes.

Remove the old @Epoch folder and replace with the new, then remove the old key and replace with the new.

 

Your mission.pbo can remain the same, nothing changed there.

 

That should be it, I don't think i missed anything :unsure:

0.3.0.3 did add some extra configs to the description.ext for Axeman's AI.

do I do all the updates the same. or change the entire folder dll and that BE filter change in the  folder config / battleye or in a folder battleye .  And how do you take the current versions

 

 

or delete the whole folder @Epoch and insert the new downloaded for example A3Laucher

Not all updates are the same, use Github to see what's changed.

The @Epoch folder needs deleted and then add the new, watch out when using A3 launcher as it used to rename them, you could end up with a folder called @Epoch0303 although it might not do that anymore.

A3Launcher still does rename the folders, i have now an @Epoch0303
