DrScandalous
Curious what everyone thinks about what adding an ATM to the spawn traders would do for/to gameplay. Obviously this would allow players to gear up right at spawn, but it would also affect global inventories, etc.
Mr.Bojangles
It would be a nice feature as I routinely see complaints from people spawning saying that there are campers killing them which they are leaving the spawn areas. It would be nice to give a bit of a balance to that. Also it would be nice to have something to spend Krypto on. I have a healthy bank account and if I die I just loot around and get geared... haven't spent more than 400 krypto on a few building items. 1Man
Ya this is a good question, I can see both sides of this being good and bad. Only real issue is new spawns begging for money which would get old after a while. Players still would not be protected as only the traders have God mode so that's a plus. reaperz73
I think this would be a bad idea, you would lose the ability to make money off of kills.
DrScandalous
I think this would be a bad idea, you would lose the ability to make money off of kills. Explain? I could see how it might LESSEN the amount of money that people would carry on their person, but not eliminate it by any means. I do see your point, though. Xyz
if it was up to me, there would be no safezone traders and spawns would be randomized.
DaSilva
Spawning randomly would be great if you were playing on your own and without a base. If you want to play with friends and you have a base somewhere, spawning randomly all the time would be horrible. It would be a cool feature to add along side the man holes, sort of like a "random" man hole that could take you anywhere.
Zupa
ATM's at traders is a big NO in my opinion. Nothing so boring then ATM's there. First experienced in DayZ Epoch A2. The money will never leave the safezones/trader area. It's just sell/store and your cash is safe :) Sequisha
SkyDogs
Why has nobody mentioned the blindingly obvious yet? Within a restart or two, the trader weapon stocks would be depleted. However, the attraction of safe zone banking would see players heading there with their hauls. My opinion is.....I'd like it but it is restricted to me and my friends only. TheDanius
The money will never leave the safezones/trader area. DrScandalous
WTF is a global inventory? Keep it simple so retards like me can understand it. Inventories across the map... as in, it would affect all traders/trade systems globally.
SkyDogs
Inventories across the map... as in, it would affect all traders/trade systems globally. Yeah I gathered that, I just didn't work it out initially. I'm not a fan of the roaming traders anyway. Yet another display of dev logic that left me scratching my head, but going by the opinions within these pages here, roaming traders are popular. Or, maybe players are just apathetic toward this new system. I much much prefer the devs' system from DayZ Epoch, where we had proper market towns and a few specialist static traders. DeepFlows
Would infuse those krypto accounts with some much needed purpose, though. Making your way to the closest ATM and back to the spawn trader so you can gear up is an extremely risky proposition compared to just gearing back up the non-krypto way. Obviously this would allow players to gear up right at spawn, but it would also affect global inventories, etc. I'm against this things cause I like to have this adrenaline when you have to deposit your Kryptos when you sold your item on a trader who was far away. If the ATM is in the spawn traders, you don't have any adrenaline. Sold your item -> ATM -> I'm safe and my Kryptos too... This is a survival game, I would prefer a system where you have to deposit your Kryptos in your "Safe box" not an ATM
SkyDogs
So many different wishes for the game. On the bright side, there'll be plenty variations to choose from once we're allowed to alter vanilla.

But in my opinion, the perfect way to stay in survival mod is to leave the ATMs from safe trader....That's all !
