BEC No Valid response.

Question

Hello,

I've probably done something really stupid and I cannot for the life of me find out what it is! So I'm hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on it for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Some more info required, what is your command line?

Have you sorted your SC/Battleye/beserver.cfg file?

Are you running on a dedicated server or on your own client machine?

--

I guess either yo havnt setup your beserver.cfg (set rcon pass and the like), OR

you may have specified an IP address in your command line that is not the same as the IP in the BEC Config.cfg. (try removing any -ip= params from your command line.

Good Luck

Thank you ever so much. It happened to be the IP Address in my start up.

I really appreciate it!

Might sound stupid, but I had to move the mods to the end of the line (expecting a semicolon to fuck up)

Try :

start "arma3" "arma3server.exe" -config=E:\Arma3Server\SC\config.cfg  -port=2352 -profiles=SC -cfg=E:\Arma3Server\SC\basic.cfg -name=SC  -malloc=system -mod=@Epoch;@EpochHive;

For anybody that still has an issue with BEC not connecting to the server. Check your set parameters... in there under profile="whatever folder you use"....this folder will have a battleye folder. there should be a file in there called beserver.dll...this file is the file the server uses for battleye. BEC MUST use this same exact beserver.dll to be able to connect to the server. So be sure to set in your BEC config file that this is the folder to use. This battleye folder is also the folder that holds all your filters. I just had an issue with another server trying to start up BEC and could not figure it out. I had the beserver.dll file in another folder for BEC and it would not connect to the server no matter what I tried.
