Pax
Hello. I noticed some trouble about the latest patch. Somehow most Objects of the modular building system despawn after restart. Those Walls, doors, floors and so on just don't appear in the database as if it was never built. We did modifiy the settings of the modular building system a little to make bases indestructable. Yet somehow some walls and stuff sometimes still can be destroyed. The Framerate is also a little lower (5-10 FPS less). Did anyone else notice anything went wrong? BetterDeadThanZed
Doesn't happen on my server. I'm sure it's something you've done.
Achmed
chances are you forgot to modify the file to stop base clean ups and its deleted them all as over 7 days
Mercules
chances are you forgot to modify the file to stop base clean ups and its deleted them all as over 7 days This seems the most reasonable explanation. Had it happen to me because my host has a way to change time and sometimes we want to play around in the dark and sometimes we like high noon. Using that tool alters my hive.exe file but changes more than just the time config so now I edit it by hand.
chi
chances are you forgot to modify the file to stop base clean ups and its deleted them all as over 7 days Could you tell me where to find this file to stop the server cleanup? fr1nk
Look for 'HiveExt.ini' In the [Objects] section, add this: CleanupPlacedAfterDays = # Where '#' = number of days before cleanup occurs EDIT: just noticed you added the invulnerability fix - not sure what other setting exists there. Oh well, in case anyone else is wondering where the setting is for vanilla Epoch, the above still applies.
therous
Same thing happens on my server, I go through Dayz.st so the cleanup is already disabled so for me that is not the issue. I have to figure out what script it is that is causing this for me, what scripts are you running on your server pax?
