Honey Bee reacted to Cherdenko in Farewell
Hello guys,
im not gonna write a lifelong letter explaining why I'm gonna leave this forum for a while or even forever.
Most of the people might know by now that its coz of a certain person which name i will not be naming.
But first of all:
I wanna thank you all for 2 epic years i got to participate in this community, with great scripters like @juandayz, @oldmatechoc, @iben, @Hooty and all the others which i might have forgotten. I wanna thank you guys for an awesome time in which i really learned a lot more then i could do by myself.
My scripts will still be available but i wont be posting any new ones. (except my account getting rm from said person)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It should work - did you change the port in both the battleye config file (the active one) and the BEC config?

I am only using the Lobby kick of BEC and it is working. So I think you really have a fail in your port configuration.
Port in "SC\BattleEye\BEServer.cfg" is 2310
In BEC Config: Port = 2310

Honey Bee reacted to Helion4 in BEC Bug after Last Update
Hello,
Everybody had problems with Battleye after the 1.78 update. The 1.80 update seems to have fixed most problems for most people, are your servers all updated to latest patch? Also there were some changes to the way BE works:-
:Battleye traffic was moved to a separate port : 2306 so check all your settings again, and check the relevant firewall ports are all open.

Yes you will need to change the port in BECs config file from 2306 to 2307 (or the one you run battleye in epochhive.ini with)

Honey Bee reacted to He-Man in Vehicle Spawn Limit
At first, check the Settings file for your map.
You can define the Vehicles in the config.cpp or overwrite them within the map file.
Example Tanoa: https://github.com/EpochModTeam/Epoch/blob/release/Sources/epoch_server_settings/configs/maps/tanoa.h#L29-L86
In the Altis file, the allowedvehicles are not overwritten.
Then it could be, that you have reduced the count of allowed Vehicles. Then on the Map the Limit is reached (On the map are already more Vehicles then in the config).
Or you are using a Black Marked. Here you can buy as much vehicles as you want, until the limit is reached.
Myself is not really a fan of the Black Market, but I know a lot of Admins are.
There are 50 reserved slots in Epoch. Means, if you have 100 Vehicles in the List, you can add max. 50 addition Vehicles (example by Black Market).
What can you do?
You can increase the additional Vehicle slots, so Epoch will not spawn more vehicles in, but there are more free slots.
This is not a config. It is hard coded. But we could change it to a config in the next builds, I think.
https://github.com/EpochModTeam/Epoch/blob/release/Sources/epoch_server/init/server_init.sqf#L155
But don't increase it to much, because the Server checks all xxx slots on Restart, and a Limit is also recommended (performance)
