I think you also need the All in Arma terrain pack for that map as it uses Arma 2 buildings.

Not so big online on my Altis also, maybe need to try =)
You might get more interest with Esseker, worth a try anyway as there aren't many servers with it on at the moment.

I prefer Chernarus over Altis but you'll be lucky to get 10 regular players on Chernarus. I've swapped between Altis and Chernarus a few times and every time I go to Chernarus I lose all my players.

I had to add the following to my attachto.txt(!"Land_PortableLongRangeRadio_F" and I had to add this !"Land_PortableLongRangeRadio_F" to createvehicle.txt ... I figured I would contribute to this thread, maybe this will help someone that is having the same issues I did.

I'd suggest you remove all the Stary traders and re-add them in 1 by 1 until it stops working again.
Just copy the 1st line and make them 1m apart to start with then when they are all working get the proper coordinates for them.

I think it's an Arma 3 issue, I don't have any FPS issues until arma3server.exe decides to only use 35% of the available CPU speed for 20 minutes at a time.

After being up 2 hours and typically no fps drops as there were only 5 players on :/
Not sure if that randomize civ script is an issue or not (it's a script which decides whether npcs have a hat or not ffs)

I suppose so but thankfully at least on this particular topic your in the minority. The feedback and rock man has been overwhelmingly negative. There's also no reason the bicycle shouldn't of been in since day one. These maps are all bloody massive and there should be a basic means of transport above just running.
It would have to be part of the Epoch mod (in the same way as the ebike) otherwise it would require an additional download. There is no cycle in Arma 3 as there was in Arma 2 so it's not just a case of having a script include it.

So do I usually, unless I'm trying to diagnose any issues with scripts etc.

So you don't even think that the in game browser should tell you you need additional downloads rather than just bump you back to the server list with no explanation?

Does it require AiA TP ? I didn't see any mention of a dependency :unsure: also at 2.5GB i think it's a standalone with the A2 objects packed with it.
Not sure but every server I can see in the browser list also has the AiA map pack enabled.
Just loaded it in the editor and got in without the AiA pack but did get a few errors about missing buildings so I think you do.

You are trying to spawn them all in exactly the same spot, give each one a unique location and they will spawn

Lol tell that to the people who run Taviana. There numbers are higher then people rocking Altis. People always prefer "new and shinny" over what they've already had.
As far as esseker I believe they've released it on a limited basis at the moment. ( of course ccg has it as they probably paid to run it first and you can always try it there )
I assume it'll see a public release soon.
There are only a handful of Taviana servers with a decent amount of players, the same will go for this map. Depending on players to install the AiA map pack and then another map just isn't going to happen on a large scale.
It's a shame but that's just the way it is, players are either unwilling or unable to get the correct files to play. It doesn't help that the in game server browser doesn't actually tell you that you need additional files to connect to a server.

I think you would have to use triggers if you want to create sensors in scripts.

I recently got into scripting etc, But addactions do work with StockAH ( if i think that means the default epochAH)
what i basicly do is calling the addaction in the Altis Mission,
player addaction ["Start Event", "addons\xxxxxxx\start.sqf","",5,false,true,"",""];
Then start.sqf
systemChat "Starting event"; event = false; publicVariableServer "event";
Then in the @epochHive Addon
"event" addPublicVariableEventHandler { [] execVM "x\addons\custom\serverside\xxxxxx\xxxxxxxx.sqf"; };
This way the addactions worked for me? and runs the scripts i want to run pretty easy.
Or did i just got lucky, could be since the latest epochupdate but also had it working one build before 0.3.0.3
Addactions have always worked on the standard AH if you are an admin, if you aren't an admin then 0.3.0.3 introduced the ability to let non admins use them too. Prior to that it was totally hit and miss as to whether it worked or not.

I've currently got 289 vehicles live on the server and 3851 Epoch buildables with 0.2.5.2 I was up to 400 vehicles and 12000 buildables and was still getting 40fps on the server with 30-40 people online.
I've been monitoring the server tonight and am struggling to stay at 20-25fps with 25 players online and probably 90% of the scripts I have running were also running on 0.2.5.2
Personally I think its the Arma update that's buggered everything up. I get quite a lot of network communication errors between the server and HC in the logs.

How did you get more than 155 vehicles to spawn? I've got about 200 allowed in epochConfig, but only a max of 155 will spawn into the server. I thought it was hard-coded to that maximum.
I've had up to 400 on the map at once, check your traders they are probably full of them.

Nice looking map, shame hardly anyone will download it let alone play it.
The only way maps other than Altis and Stratis are going to thrive in Epoch is if they are bundled with Epoch (the easiest way is probably via Steam) or if they are heavily promoted on this site as official maps.

It will save every 60 seconds if there has been at least 1 database update. So yes, only when players are online and interacting with traders/shooting/looting etc.
