epoch doesn't support an instance_building table like the older/other mods that are ran off the reality hive.

 

I think that's what he's referring to where you used to be able to put all your buildings in the database.

I remember them days, what a PITA that was :lol:

Thankfully we have posts like with ongoing support from Poncho :)

yes. with infistar spawn the building AIM or look at it then press insert and SAVE it this saves the building and location to the SQL db.

 

Note: none of the infistar Buildings will ever spawn loot for this you need to go into your SQL object_data and find the new Buildings and change their names.

Use Arma editor (alt+E) to place buildings and save the mission, grab the mission.sqf and add them to your server via the mission.sqf in your server.pbo.

takes to long compared to infistars easy save to sql option.

 

This is probably stated on every forum and most duplicate posts but I will chime it once again..

Before posting a new/duplicate topic, use the search functionality and actually look through the results.

If your building a custom base / area, I'd personally use the Editor and load them server side due to the high object count you quickly end up with (plenty of howto's in the custom bases forum).

 

Side-loading a ton of buildings via the database will seriously bloat your object_data table, theres enough data in the object_data table already without adding custom buildings to the mix! :)

Spawn the building you want with infistar then look at it and hit Insert on your keyboard it will give you a scroll option to save it to the Database after server reset the Building or Object you spawned in will be there.
