KPABATOK
Since server admins not available, would like some ideas from other people here. When I join specific Epoch server, I go past team selection, mission file loads fine etc. and just right before I should be logged in, the status bar hangs on "loading player inventory...please wait"... it should go instantly passed it up until "loading...please wait" but hangs like 10 percent before the end if you know what I mean. When I wait for it it "unhang", 2 minutes pass and get "authentication failed, please disconnect and try again" and then get kick "public variable restriction 0". It is happening not just for me, but many other players on that server. I manage to join a server only after like 20-30 tries. Launch game, hang, have to force close it via task manager because not waiting 2 minutes, and try again. Server isn't vanilla, I can join just all the other Epoch servers just fine. So it is server problem, not my client. Any ideas? And here is part of the log from Arma 3 Launcher, since the launching of arma until I get kicked and then close arma. Maybe there is some kind of a timer which has values set too low so people randomly get kicked? It was similar problem before. 2016-02-07 02:43:48,926 [ INFO] 1: LauncherViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.LauncherViewModel+<PlayArmaCore>d__54.MoveNext:0] All mods are ready. 2016-02-07 02:43:48,941 [ INFO] 12: DependencyMatrix [Launcher.Extensions.DependencyMatrix.Recalculate:0] Recalculate... 2016-02-07 02:43:48,941 [DEBUG] 12: Launcher.Extensions.ExtensionManager [Launcher.Extensions.ExtensionManager.DependencyMatrixOnRecalculated:0] DependencyMatrixOnRecalculated 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [ INFO] 12: DependencyMatrix [Launcher.Extensions.DependencyMatrix.Recalculate:0] Recalculate... 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [DEBUG] 12: Launcher.Extensions.ExtensionManager [Launcher.Extensions.ExtensionManager.DependencyMatrixOnRecalculated:0] DependencyMatrixOnRecalculated 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [DEBUG] 1: LauncherViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.LauncherViewModel+<PlayArmaCore>d__54.MoveNext:0] [ARMA params]=-skipintro -nosplash "-mod=@Epoch" 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [ INFO] 1: ArmaLocator [Launcher.ArmaLocator.ProbeKnownPathsForArma3Executable:0] Locator CurrentDirectoryLocator: Found = True; Path = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [ INFO] 1: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor.RunArma:0] 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [ INFO] 1: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor.RunArma:0] 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [ INFO] 1: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor.RunArma:0] Starting the game, process path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\arma3battleye.exe 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [ INFO] 1: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor.RunArma:0] parameters: 2 1 1 -skipintro -nosplash "-mod=@Epoch" 2016-02-07 02:43:48,973 [ INFO] 1: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor.RunArma:0] 2016-02-07 02:43:49,019 [DEBUG] 6: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor+<>c__DisplayClass1b+<<MonitorBattlEyeProcess>b__1a>d__1d.MoveNext:0] BattlEye output code read: 0x3 2016-02-07 02:43:49,019 [DEBUG] 6: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor+<>c__DisplayClass1b+<<MonitorBattlEyeProcess>b__1a>d__1d.MoveNext:0] BattlEye return a new status (code: 0x00000003, status: Starting) 2016-02-07 02:43:49,035 [DEBUG] 1: UniversalProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.UniversalProgressBarViewModel.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModelOnPropertyChanged:0] Status changed: IsActive:False, SelectedIndex:0 2016-02-07 02:43:49,035 [DEBUG] 1: UniversalProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.UniversalProgressBarViewModel.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModelOnPropertyChanged:0] Status changed: IsActive:True, SelectedIndex:1 2016-02-07 02:43:49,066 [ INFO] 1: ExtensionManagementViewModel [Launcher.Extensions.ViewModels.ExtensionManagementViewModel+<RefreshExtensionsViewCore>d__3b.MoveNext:0] RefreshExtensionsView 2016-02-07 02:43:49,218 [DEBUG] 6: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor+<>c__DisplayClass1b+<<MonitorBattlEyeProcess>b__1a>d__1d.MoveNext:0] BattlEye output code read: 0x7 2016-02-07 02:43:49,218 [DEBUG] 6: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor+<>c__DisplayClass1b+<<MonitorBattlEyeProcess>b__1a>d__1d.MoveNext:0] BattlEye return a new status (code: 0x00000007, status: Updating) 2016-02-07 02:43:49,219 [DEBUG] 1: UniversalProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.UniversalProgressBarViewModel.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModelOnPropertyChanged:0] Status changed: IsActive:True, SelectedIndex:1 2016-02-07 02:43:49,525 [DEBUG] 6: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor+<>c__DisplayClass1b+<<MonitorBattlEyeProcess>b__1a>d__1d.MoveNext:0] BattlEye output code read: 0x9 2016-02-07 02:43:49,525 [DEBUG] 6: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor+<>c__DisplayClass1b+<<MonitorBattlEyeProcess>b__1a>d__1d.MoveNext:0] BattlEye return a new status (code: 0x00000009, status: LaunchingGame) 2016-02-07 02:43:49,525 [DEBUG] 1: UniversalProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.UniversalProgressBarViewModel.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModelOnPropertyChanged:0] Status changed: IsActive:True, SelectedIndex:1 2016-02-07 02:43:49,525 [DEBUG] 1: BattlEyeProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModel.ArmaExecutorOnBattlEyeStatus:0] Timer started 2016-02-07 02:43:54,524 [DEBUG] 1: BattlEyeProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModel.TimerOnTick:0] timer tick 2016-02-07 02:43:54,525 [DEBUG] 1: UniversalProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.UniversalProgressBarViewModel.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModelOnPropertyChanged:0] Status changed: IsActive:False, SelectedIndex:0 2016-02-07 02:43:54,525 [DEBUG] 1: BattlEyeProgressBarViewModel [Launcher.ViewModels.BattlEyeProgressBarViewModel.TimerOnTick:0] Timer stopped 2016-02-07 02:47:22,432 [ INFO] 3: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor.armaProc_Exited:0] Arma exited (ExitCode: 0) 2016-02-07 02:47:22,997 [DEBUG] 12: ArmaExecutor [Launcher.ArmaExecutor+<>c__DisplayClass1b+<<MonitorBattlEyeProcess>b__1a>d__1d.MoveNext:0] BattlEye output code read: 0xFFFFFFFF
Brian Soanes
It's the hotfix from the other day to stop vest/clothes bug, we had the fix on our server but around 60% of players would hang on loading player inventory. Took the hotfix off and players can load in fine now KPABATOK
vbawol
Brian, did you have issues with both versions of the hotfix the released one and the one on experimental? If you have not yet tested the version that is on the experimental branch please do and report back. Thanks!
KILLka
Hello. I use update to release version branch and get the same error when connecting to the server. "Loading player inventory ... please wait" and then "authentication failed, please disconnect and try again". In addition to getting the error EpohServer.log "[Redis] Error command ERR value is not an integer or out of range". The problem appeared after the hotfix.
