DB wont open?

When I try to open the DB with the cmd. file, it pops up for half a second then disappears. The only way I've gotten it to stay up is by not changing anything in the config for it, but then nobody will be able to connect. I have searched everywhere i can think of and found no help for this. Anybody else having these problems?

Increase system swap file. Max memory 1gb.

i had a simulair problem i splitt the db both had 4 gb max mem but if i wanna open both first runs well but the second set me an crit error

I've tried changing swap file sizes as well as the file size allocation for the Db itself.. nothing helps. The only way it runs is with a completely unmodified config file.

Open command prompt and run the bat file from it. Then you can see the error.

Change your bat to this and if will show u the stuff that goes wrong etc.

Are you on a x32 or x64  OS? Do you have the disk space for the pagefile? The server included is for x64.

Ok, sorry for the late reply. Been busy testing the server on our box since i changed the memory down to 2gb and the DB starts.

 

Now I'm having issues with the DB staying on.

 

After about 20-30 minutes of game time, I get a "program not responding" (or something similar) pop-up on the server. I don't see this unless i have the remote connection open on another monitor, but when it does this, nothing is getting saved. If i click either of the options ("Close program" or "search online for solution") or click the X, the entire server crashes. If I leave it be, the server stays up but nothing saves.

it is running out fo memory i had this problem it was when other things run and take all t he memory and pagefile more ram and/or pagefile
