Saltzman
I am trying to use RCON for my A3 server and it refuses to connect. I use it 24/7 for Overpoch server and it works fine. Can you not use RCON for A3 Epoch? I am using the IP and port and beserver.cfg password and it refuses to connect.
horbin
I just had this issue and it was an error in my - options when actually launching the server. My first clue: I was able to run the server, even log in and play, but no .rpt file where I expected it. GL RCON does work for me now.
Darth_Rogue
Use DART 2.0. Make sure you try to log into Dart with the same password that is set in your Battleye folder's config.
Saltzman
I have tried my both game port and steam port to connect with my beserver.cfg password and Dart 2.0. Still refuses to connect. I have my Battleeye folder in SC. Is that ok? What else could be causing this?
Darth_Rogue
That should be it. Set the password in the BE folder config. arma3/SC/Battleye/BEServer.cfg Use Dart to connect to the correct server IP and port. Mine works fine. Also make sure that your admin password in your server.cfg file matches as well.
Saltzman
There is something wrong because there is no BEServer_active.cfg in the Battleeye folder
nedfox
There is a template cfg file in there, rename it to beserver.cfg and you're good to go.
Saltzman
Ok renamed the folder to beserver.cfg, restarted the server, used my new password and still refuses to connect. Also still no BEServer_active.cfg in the Battleye folder.
Darth_Rogue
Verify your user folder is correct in your server startup parameters. It must be looking at a different folder then.
Santa
In your config.cfg there has to be a line like this passwordAdmin = "nopePass"; Make sure that that password matches with the one in SC\BattlEye\BEServer.cfg like this RConPassword nopePass Ho Ho Ho

Santa
Where is this user folder? The user folder by default is the 'SC' folder. Your launch parameters should include these: "-profiles=SC" -name=SC Something in the line of this, but than with your own paths instead of my G:\Arma3 -mod=@Epoch;@EpochHive; "-config=G:\Arma3\SC\config.cfg" -port=2302 "-profiles=SC" "-cfg=G:\Arma3\SC\basic.cfg" -name=SC -Nap Time Ho Ho Ho
