It's a relief considering other mods require you to search for a bunch of parts to repair a vehicle once you finally find one. My guess is that if you do find a vehicle that is in need of repair, there is a good chance you'll find the survivor that abandoned it nearby. I wrecked my hatchback and it had two blown tires and a busted engine. I jumped out and shot it with the multi gun several times. Reload and shot it several more times and it was 100% full repaired.
