    I'd like to preview the Chernarus Overhaul I am working on - a collection of map packs focusing on Epoch's Core zones.
     
     
    Features:
    Better protection at Trader Cities Immersive, some pretty eccentric structures Fully modular - each spot is a seperate sqf Hours of optimization work to reduce file size and increase performance Two projects of Fortresses ready for NPCs - one small, one excessively large (approx. 2x2 kilometers of platforms in the ocean) Alternative versions of the maps coming in the future to offer options and variants: No fuelpump in Klen / No Zombies / Less Objects / More entrances   etc. More alternative versions tailored to your personal wishes, just post em here =)

    OMG I get an Error Message about "missing content" for "aif1_buildings" or "pook_h13"
    Don't worry, that didn't do any harm. Standard Epoch includes these two files, but they are not used on Chernarus so the Mod does not find them.
    The Readme file included in the download has instructions on page 2 how to remove the error message  !
    You can play without any problems despite getting the error message, btw.
      How do I install this?
    I suggest using the server.pbo, the Readme file has installation instructions !
      Do I need to change/add the traders manually?
    No, the traders and their market stalls all remain unchanged.
      Does the Castle in Klen disappear?
    No, it will all be normal ingame. The Castle is simply not visible in the editor, thus missing on my screenshots.  
    Permissions/Credits:
     
    As long as players enjoy them, feel free to edit / modify my maps however you like. Just don't claim them as your own work ;)
    Without the Epoch Mod, I wouldn't have worked on these map upgrades for Chernarus, so most credit goes to the Epoch Team!

    Oh hi guys, sorry for the delay ;)
     
    Been a bit lost in BF4 and in additional optimization of the maps => I'm currently optimizing all of them to the maximum extent of my current knowledge. Until now, that was only the case for Willow Lake Castle Ruin. Now for the rest, Depending on the map, File Size and initial server load when starting up and loading my sqfs decreased by up to 20%.
     
    Optimization of all maps except The Boneyard is finished - as you may guess, that one's still a hell lot of work.
     
    Trader City Bash finished just yesterday, I'm on optimization and testing right now. It turned out quite eccentric, either way both the finished Bash and a Light Version will be included - the Light Version is simply the map as it is now, with only blockades and camo nets. Expect the update with as-optimized-as-I-currently-know maps and Trader City Bash tomorrow or on thursday. I know you're waiting for that possibilities to add an NPC outpost, but luxury things come after that :P
     
     
    I'll be curious about your opinions of Bash. Personally, I somehow don't really like it, but I cannot point out why. This one does actually offer to move the Traders to new spots included, but... well you'll see :P

    Ok, i tested it today with only me on the Server:
     
    With all addons (exept the Battlefield): 21 fps
    Without all addons: 43 fps
    Without the Airfield: 38 fps

    Hello People,
     
    the Bandit Trader Overhaul "Cutthroat's Corner" is done ! It comes with:
     
    => Open Bar & Lounge, a Grilling / Sheesha terrace
    => Stick Fences against the Zombies at the Barn near the Trader NPC
    => A small racetrack for ATVs  :D
     
    The GOC.rar will be updated any minute now.

    Sure. That's a good idea, coming up with the next update !
     
    The Barracks will move to the little Electric Building in the Southeast Corner.
     
    The previous Barracks in the Original Boneyard will be replaced with a similar, closed building without loot.

    I tested the new Locations and they are realy awsome. Good Good work.
     
    Two Notes:
    The Barack at the NE Airfield doesnt spawn loot. Do you want this so?
     
    And at Klen in the Tent with the Chest/Boxes. They are flowting in the air ;)

    Thanks for pointing out these things - more people asked for this, I was about to add a changed sqf already but didn't get to it ;)
     
    GOC.rar will be updated in a few minutes with the following:
    Klen: Floating chests fixed Added The Boneyard - With loot in the additional barracks to the Alternatives  folder Added Trader Enhancement Klen - Without Fuel Pump to the Alternatives folder  
    PS: Bandit Trader Overhaul almost finished, coming soon. Still waiting for permission to use the epoch wooden floors tho, may have to remove the Bandit Spot again later :/

    For my maps, you don't have to remove the castle or manually add traders. The trader NPCs and their market stalls are not changed. The castle in Klen also remains!
    I guess the Klen screenshot is a bit confusing since the castle is not shown there. I will update these screenshots in the future.

    Nothing of the original Epoch Map is removed or changed. The traders still stand in the exact same spot, the castle is simply not visible in my preview pictures. I will fix these in time :)

    OMG I get an Error Message about "missing content" for "aif1_buildings" or "pook_h13"
    Don't worry, that didn't do any harm. Standard Epoch includes these two files, but they are not used on Chernarus so the Mod does not find them.
    The Readme file included in the download has instructions on page 2 how to remove the error message  !
    You can play without any problems despite getting the error message, btw.
      How do I install this?
    I suggest using the server.pbo, the Readme file has installation instructions !
      Do I need to change/add the traders manually?
    No, the traders and their market stalls all remain unchanged.
      Does the Castle in Klen disappear?
    No, it will all be normal ingame. The Castle is simply not visible in the editor, thus missing on my screenshots.  
    Permissions/Credits:
     
    As long as players enjoy them, feel free to edit / modify my maps however you like. Just don't claim them as your own work ;)
    Without the Epoch Mod, I wouldn't have worked on these map upgrades for Chernarus, so most credit goes to the Epoch Team!

    Can't we have fresh spawns only? I can't imagine anyone wants to drop down from 1000m at every single login (relog, server restart, connection loss ?)
