Your first choice of music wouldn't be hiphop/gangsta-rap, would it?

Sorry for the non-constructive reply, but that word takes me back to the 90s and the Biggie/2pac scene which is weird because this is Arma, after all.

  2. The "bug" seemed to fix itself. I'll leave the suggestions here though because I can't delete the post.

A couple of suggestions: maybe removing the energy updating stat altogether would not be a bad idea, since you can always check the debug window for your energy value? Or if that's not possible, make the refreshing/showing of the energy stat a bit longer time-wise, so it doesn't update every time you receive X new energy, but let's say it updates every 100 energy you gain. Or if removal is possible, instead of the number refreshing option, change that to just an icon like a lightning bolt or something that's visible when you are in fact receiving energy.

Second, any thoughts on keeping the inventory open after you craft an item/eat/drink something? Or maybe if it could be toggled somehow?

  3. Which OS? Did you try checking your task scheduler(click start, type "task" into the search field (without quotes) and select Task Scheduler, depending on your UAC settings it will ask you whether you want to make changes to windows, etc.? Also, try getting the (free version) of CCleaner, it lets you check for registry errors, startup items, advanced tasks that are not visible in msconfig, etc etc. Hope this helps.

  4. if the file name is something like arma3-perfblahblahnumbersnumbers.exe ..., copy your original arma3.exe file to some backup folder (make a folder somewhere outside of steam/steal library folders and copy the file there, then, rename the arma3.exe to arma3_original.exe, and then, rename the file you downloaded to arma3.exe

  5. What should also be added is a Dismantle option, it is kind of silly that you have to use explosives if you wan't to remove a staircase or a wall that you've built and realised you don't need it anymore. Dismantle would work good even if you don't get any materials back from it, or if there's a random chance of what/how many materials you get back from it.

  6. @Kevlar, the world limit gets updated while the server is running, so if the world limit has been reached and you blow up a wall, you would be able to put down another wall shortly after.

This is not true. We have tested this on Mells house on both Altis and Chernarus.

I'm guessing fireplaces can't really be removed from the built objects list on which there are also walls, stairs, etc, otherwise they would be put into a separate category a long time ago. An effective and quite simple solution is to set the decay time on fireplaces to a much shorter amount. For instance, does a fireplace really need to be hogging that built item list for all of the server cycle? Put a timer on fireplaces (that can be set by the server owners), for instance, a fireplace not being used for 10 minutes? To the trash with you, automatically. It seems the built objects list only gets refreshed at server restart though, so the devs would have to tweak the refreshing of this list, otherwise auto-removal of the fireplaces wouldn't affect the "world limit reached" thingie until the restart. The whole building aspect on Epoch, especially servers running vanilla like Mells, is quite broken because of this, with people waiting for server restart and racing who's gonna put down a wall first just after restart before the world limit gets reached (again, and again, and again). They were saying they have a new script running for auto-removal of obsolete building parts which should help a bit, but as long as you have fireplaces being put down as fast as they are now, you will always have this problem.

  8. There might have been one or two other guys accessing the trader, possibly during my browsing, not sure if both at once though, but almost sure one at a time during my browsing/double-clicking items before trading. Oh yeah, I also received the "Trading failed" or some sort of message like that when the bug happened.

p.s.: minor suggestion, would it be possible to add more categories to the list options? selecting mags still shows a ton of other stuff than just mags, like maybe add a "building" category or something like that.

  9. 1. The server you were playing on. | mells house chernarus

    2. What arma3 build and what Epoch build you are using. | 1.36 arma 0.2.5.2 rc1 Epoch

    3. What it was you were doing | trying to buy several (different items) at once, several same items (mags) at once from the spawn trader -> krypto lost, not gotten items, items gone from the trader list as well

    4. Is it repeatable. | yes, tried a few times, when I bought 1 item at once, it worked ok.

  10. 1. The server you were playing on. | Mell's Epoch Chernarus server

    2. What arma3 build and what Epoch build you are using. | 1.36 / 0.2.5.2

    3. What it was you were doing | Leader of the group has only the option to leave group or add new people. the options to promote members and/or remove someone from the group are greyed out/not clickable.

    4. Is it repeatable. | Yes, happened immediately when the patch/map/server came out, tried going to the lobby and back, logging out, still happening today. The leader is DrowsyToast. (currently offline though)
