    There is more to come, I have more tools in mind, but this is enough to get it rolling. It runs smooth, super flexible and missions can be made with a little AI or the whole kitchen sink. I did a test mission with patrolling AI, internal stationary AI, a base fortification, vehicle patrols, heli patrols and a minefield... let's just say it's not your father's Oldsmobile.

    Would you post your test mission that you mention above? I would like to look at the code for an all out mission. I'm going to try the mission template out today. I would like to have 3 missions in the rotation to start out this weekend.

  2. Automatic Cleanup of placed items:

    By default cleanup happens 6 days after item was placed. To change this edit CleanupPlacedAfterDays setting in the HiveExt.ini under the [objects] section.

    ;Negative values will disable this feature
    ;0 means that ALL empty placed items will be deleted every server restart
    ;A positive number is how old (in days) a placed empty item must be, in order for it to be deleted
    CleanupPlacedAfterDays = 14
    
    

    I set this value to -1 to disable it. :)

  3. I just thought of something while rereading your original post. Is FMission designed to work with any Epoch map? I want to test it on my Chernarus server first.

     

    Is there a tool available to determine position (world location) on a map? I need that data to enter into the scripts.

  4. I noticed the ATVs bouncing at the HTLH, but didn't think it was an issue. The ATVs seem to do that for some reason. I explored HTLH top to bottom when I first installed it. It looks pretty dang good to me!

     

    I would be interested in an additional alternate adding more loot at the NEAF. It would help to balance the map and divert traffic from the NWAF barracks locations. One more barracks would work great for the high value loot.

  5. Currently, I don't have a website to port the stats data to from my server, but I really like this idea. It gives players real time data on what they have accomplished in the game. Could I query my server's database and post these stats on a forum? It's not as good as real time, but still it gives the players some fairly current feedback on those stat categories.

     

    BTW, are there any cheap web hosts out there now? I don't need an elaborate website. Just something simple with a few pages and possibly a forum.

  6. I'm guessing that SARGE AI is set up specifically for Chernarus. I've been looking at the config files recently and the AI spawn locations are related to the cities, towns and villages on the Chernarus map. I'll bet people have got it running on other maps though, but it would require some work to make it happen. Also, I wouldn't personally mod anyone else's work without their permission.

  7. I think I'll install this mod over the weekend and have a look at it. Without reading through the entire thread, if your character dies on a server approximately how long do you have to wait before you can use one of the other characters on the same server? Is it possible to recover your gear from your dead character using one of the others? One of the guys I played vanilla DayZ with back in the day used two ArmA 2 / DayZ installs to do something similar to this. If his toon got killed he was literally right back in the game with our group with his back up toon. 

  8. Today I secured a barn up in the northwest corner of the map near the large water feature. The barn has a fuel tank next to it so I can top off my vehicles. I added a portable generator and a fuel pump, but the fuel pump will not build because it does not "see" the fuel tank nearby. When I try to build the fuel pump I get a message that it needs a fuel tank within 30 meters. This is my typical set up on the Chernarus map. I verified that the the fuel tank has fuel with a Jerry can. Any ideas? I don't understand why it won't work. I can use a fuel truck if necessary.

  10. I noticed that the Enhanced ESP does not toggle on/off like Player ESP does. I select it in the menu and it is on then I reselect it in the menu and it is still on. For most of the menu items selecting the same item again will deactivate it.

     

    These are excellent server admin tools. I have a good server host, but their tools are really lacking. Epoch Admin Tools have filled the gap and made managing a server a whole lot easier. Thanks!
