While we do have safe zones, we don't invoke a "no camping rule". We made the safe zones bigger to give players more room to maneuver and let them play as they play. If you drive up to a trade zone carrying golds up golds and you aren't nervous... there is something wrong. While 1st person is hard to push in Epoch due to basebuilding, we have dynamic trader prices that vary from individual trader to the next since the trade price is a direct reflection of that trader's inventory. This allows for an Economic field of play for players that if they study prices, they can trade to make a living.

 

Our prices are higher than you are used to. We want players to VALUE their gear. Especially the ability to fly, we want players to have that "rush" we all used to get back in the day, flying our first heli's. You will not be able to max out on gear the first week you play.

 

Our hero and bandit traders also cannot buy the same vehicles, but you can sell at both in the event you "acquire" another factions type of vehicle. This depicts the Hero Vs. Bandit theme even more and also does not place Bandits at some ridiculous disadvantage for sale/buy prices. Ex: Heroes can buy the UH-60M while bandits can only buy the MH-60.

 

You earn NO humanity from shooting AI at missions. Thus, you can't gain 3,000 humanity in a day and still kill every survivor you see, and maintain hero status.

I shudder at the thought of safezones and free building kits. The last time I shuddered at the thought of them, it made me accidentally create a server where I could play for myself for a few days before feeling a bit sad that I wanted more players to join my server rather than play alone on the server they created because they shuddered at the thought of safezones and free building kits.

You know MGT are kind of the best servers out there. I would play on them if my clan were still playing. But for a solo guy like me its to much PvP imho :D.

 

You want a new server? You should definitly try MGT out.
