DY357LX
I'm been thinking about tweaking the Dome script example from here:http://dayz.st/w/Protected_Dome Does anyone have any ideas how to make it obvious that players are inside the Dome, other than on-screen text? Some sort of lighting effect maybe? It rains inside the Dome? High winds inside the Dome?
0 FragZ
I support this. It would be really usefull to indicate where domes are as well!
0 WGC GeekGarage
Map marker change color?? i do this for my donation plots. When owner is offline the area is protected and red, and when one of the owners are online the red area is removed from all players maps and on the owners map it's green so they can see their area. i can't think of any visual stuff you can to inside a dome as the sensor only creates a sensor area and not a physical area you can modify
0 DY357LX
I was thinking of adding snow. Seeing if it's possible for to snow only inside the dome.
0 TheVampire
You could look at how Axe Cop's base destruction script creates ghost copies of wooden walls in a circle, and change it to use createVehicleLocal for the player when they are within a certain range of it, then use deleteVehicle when they are outside a certain range.
