RPT error, updated to 1.0.4.2 but still remain

Hi all,

i'm new here and I'm not perfect in english, so hope you can understand my poor english.

 

I have so so many error in my rpt and I can't fix them. I hoped that the version 1.0.4.2 fix them but still remain.

Your max vehicle limit is larger than the total number of vehicles able to spawn according to the dynamic_vehicle.sqf. For example, it will let 12 bikes spawn.

Open your dynamic_vehicle.sqf

 

Here's an example line.

["AH6X_DZ",3],

 

This is

["CLASSNAME",COUNT],

 

So if you go through and add up every number in your dynamic_vehicle.sqf you will find that the total count for all the entries is lower than your max vehicle settings.

 

Just be aware, I messed with this and ended up getting some sort of error when I moved my vehicle count back down after raising it. Every locked vehicle on the server was deleted, along with every locked door. Im not sure if that was the direct cause as I was doing other things, but just to let you know nonetheless to have a backup.

Thank you to Halvhjearne for the line to add to init to resolve so many boring lines "Wrong text element 'null". Appreciate it :)

 

  • 1) Warehouse (try to add lines as the post linked but still remain) not fixed  :(  any other ideas?
  • 2) Debug vehicle (try to reduce vehicles count, but still same error) not fixed  any other ideas?
  • 3) AGN safezone (this was little error, but no more crap warning) fixed
  • 4) Custom Monitor (no more boring lines) fixed
  • 5) Sarge error (just remove 2 skins) fixed

You need to adjust your dynamic_vehicle up.

For example take this:

["AH6X_DZ",3],

and make it

["AH6X_DZ",6],

 

What I did with mine is just multiplied everything by 3.

Im getting the error also...

 

so the safezone commander needs to be launched from either in the 

 

if (isServer) then {

 

or

 

if (!isDedicated) then {

 

blocks? I thought it had to go right at the bottom of the init.sqf?

 

also does this line not make it check if its in the server or dedicated blocks and return the error if it is?

This what I have done:

I put it at the bottom, just after this:

works fine and no warning :)

Just to be clear, where you say it checks for both,  if ( isDedicated || isServer )

that is NOT the same as, if (!isServer)

Notice the "!"? The exclamation mark means NOT. So instead of, if (isServer), meaning if it is a server, if (!isServer), means if not server. Not meaning if your dayz is a server or not, but more like if that file is to be run by the server, or by the client.

So basically, things that you want to be run by the server, would be in the "if (isServer)" section, and the other things, such as debug, would be in "if (!isServer)".

Also, isDedicated and isServer, are pretty much the same thing.

 

Hope this helps anyone who is having these same problems but can't figure out why they can't fix the problem, and didnt notice the "!". :)
