Yeah, the Bunker Prop (Bunker to port from) is already known... your "bunker" is not the same building as I saw in the video (Its in Richies post). Your bunker looks like a warehouse building or something built out of pre-made objects. I am not bagging on it, just pointing out that it is not what I was referring to. In the video there is a very cool structure they used with lots of rooms and hallways leading to different areas... it actually looks like a bunker. THAT is the building *I* would love to find to use.

EDIT**

I think this is where they got the building from in the video.

Good job you guys. This could be the start of poor man's instancing or "PMI" as I will call it. The mechanism to get into the Bunker is easy enough so, the bulk of the work will be creating the locations. Caves, complexes etc etc... When creating these areas we should think about areas that would be fun to infiltrate/raid/explore. Lots of good cover spots, nooks and crannies, etc etc... AI can be added into the areas to create events/raid areas. Static areas could be made too. Possibilities are endless.

I already have an idea for an event using "PMI" which I will start working on very soon.

How big is too big ? surely the purpose of the bunkers is a place to find and explore, not really exploring when they're small.

They need to be good size so we can explore. I had an idea about how to create different "instances" that wont take up real estate on the map or lag it from persistent areas. I am going to try this and see how it works out. My idea is to grab a section of sky off to the side of the map (in bounds of radiation, although... you could position a portion of the "area" over the line to create a "radiated area" of your "instance") and make an enclosed area so the player has no clue they are up in the sky somewhere. The areas can be called when the script launches so they are only there when needed. I wouldn't worry about aircraft since even if they found it the worst they could do is land on it. This way you could use static coords and set yourself up a grid in the sky to create instances.
