megaz 18 Report post Posted July 23, 2018 Hi guys - My server is hosted with GTX and was wondering if the DB can be accessed like the A2 servers with redis to change items in DB. And what program is used to open up a DB dump.rdb file ? if any Thanks MegaZ
0 He-Man 422 Report post Posted July 24, 2018 You can use redis desktop manager
0 Grahame 415 Report post Posted July 24, 2018 Note that for GTX you need to stop the server, which also stops REDIS. Then download the dump.rdb (and maybe appendonly.aof if GTX uses appendonly - can't remember whether it was them or HostHavoc that do). Run a REDIS instance on your PC with those files added, use RDM to modify the database, reupload the changes and then restart the server. Always keep a back up of the previous database, just in case...
