Script.txt and " \

Airwaves Man

Question

Hey guys,

I'm a bit confused with the script.txt and how to handle that. I've read that a " needs always a \ infront of it so it is a \" . That is clear but @ebayShopper battleye filter guide says that every \ needs a \ aswell in front of it. So I think that means every standalone \ . I've read in the forums  @BigEgg fiters help that line:

1 execVM !"\z\addons\dayz_code"

If I'm correct this exception is missing a \ before every \ so it looks like:

1 execVM !"\\z\\addons\\dayz_code"

I noticed that this tool: http://bem.themeq.xyz/ is not making a double \ but this tool: https://github.com/eraser1/BE_AEG does it.

So what is right here? Or are these \ not essential at all?
