Last night one guy in my group had 4 group markers, 3 for dead bodies and one for his actual new self. If I remember correctly, prior to the changes that were made to the group code in experimental just before I started the post, your group marker stayed on your body until you respawned, at which point it vanished from the body and attached itself to your new clone.
