Built stairs disapear instantly if you put them up higher than a ground level and then exit building mode

It is confusing, let me rephrase it. I tried to make stairs physical, like put them higher above ground (not snap on anything), drop them and then I can move them around. So I did that, pressed build on stairs, of course it was in ghost mode, then lifted them up couple of meters above ground and then exited building mode. Stairs instantly became invisible. It showed (via icon) that they dropped to the ground but I could not see them. I think I remember this bug from before too.

I can make physical walls, floors etc, but with a stairs, they just vanish.

oh no, 0.3.8 stable. Forgot to mention. I wrote this message yesterday somehow did not appear in forum :D CENSORSHIP!!!
