Need help with .paa files

Hi,

I just installed a GUI menu and have a debug showing blood humanity ect that has a picture showing bandit hero.

As i have ultra bandit and hero traders set up i would like my own pictures for them so i get a picture of the internet to edit/use for it.

The size is 48x48, i try loading it in texview 2, error loading file. I put it in photoshop and save it as a .paa doesn't work ingame or texview.

I've tried old texview 2 and new one (i think) with still no luck.

This probably doesn't make sense to you guys but I've tried everything and can't get it to work.

Any ideas?

i installed arma 3 tools launched up imagetopaa added the file and click process and it says failed to process?

Ok managed to get the file in texview 2 by photoshopping it into 32 pixel tga lets see if it works ingame

works ingame, the problem is i only have a trial of photoshop.

So can i just use any image as long as i scale it down to a 1:1 / 2:1 ratio in a multiple of 4 right?

in order to import the picture in textview, the picure needs to be a png.

Use photoshop to save as a png, then once in textview save it as paa
