CD Key usable for Server and for Player?

hey,

one quick question.

Is it possible to use a cd key for a dedicated server and for my own pc (to play on it) at the same time?

Or must it be a unique key for the dedicated box?

you can use the same key as far as i know.  I have my steam installed on a dedi. it runs both servers and i can connect with my pc no problem. Same team account.

I can also run and connect to the server on one PC, as a test bed.
