how to setup auto database backups with gtx gaming

hello, anybody here using gtx gaming day all in one server, or know how to setup auto backups?

they have a video on YouTube on how to do auto backups to your local computer using a batch file. they say this way no longer works and is not supported. 

 

so that leads me back to my question how can I setup auto database backups?  I know I can do them manually via hedisql. however that is not always convenient

FTP access ? just download the dump.rdb file once or twice a day

I do have FTP access.  I can download the database manually, and have.  I changed host's from vilayer where I had auto 3 hour backups.  I would like that again, I went 7 days a little back where I was getting a major hack everyday.  So I feel having backup's every 3 to 4 hours is a must.  I can't do backups if i'm working or out of town since I don't have access.

Why not open a support ticket and ask them ? there will be a way or hopefully another GTX customer will see this and reply.

I did send them a ticket asking how to do backup's and server messages not using backups.   The reply I got was " Please note: All of those videos are OUT OF DATE and if you look at the bottom of the forum posts containing the Video Tutorial you will see that I have made this explicitly clear via red, bold and caps stating that the content is out of date but some of the information is still relevant hence we left the videos available to be seen."

 

So it did not really answer my question lol.  So I thought I would come here and see if anybody knows.

im with GTX also... If you found a way to do it please share with us :)  as for the dump.rbd file i was not able to find it
