Will Placing 2nd Jammer Create Issues?

We didn't have admin around at the time to delete the original jammer, so when we built more secure area, we added a jammer there.  It appears we can maintain both but will this cause any issues until the original is deleted?

I wouldn't delete it more jammers means less likely someone to take your base, 1st can be your decoy.

I had no idea it worked like that.  So if original were to get blown, the 2nd, and more secure one, would still be doing the job?

Next patch they already have a fix I believe.

[Fixed] Frequency Jammer can not be built or placed within 3x Jammer radius. (default 225m)

Double frequency jammers have been known to have base parts get deleted.

 

Yep, logged in one day to have half the base gone even though we maintain both the day before. And we had no problems before with just one jammer. If you do decide to keep it, I would be interested to see if it lasted at least the maintenance period (usually 7 days) on your server.

I have had the same thing with a single jammer and 1 was only present. Big thing is count your items and when you maintain make sure it matches

After reading all the potential issues, as well as having the mysterious vanishing lockboxes, shelves, etc...I think it's best to remove the original.

I had a small base.. the farthest  part was 50m away from the jammer yet the fathest wall would always despawn.

 

I would maintain the jammer yet that one part would always despawn.  I had to put a 2nd jammer down and it didn't cause any issues.

 

 

The jammer maintenance area is bugged afaik.

 

 

The maintenance amount is so small I just ended up paying twice but it was no big deal. Only 39 krypto.
