KingBlueSlims
Me and a friend have been building on Mells House Chernarus over the last few days to see what is possible with the changes to the building mechanics. I have to say i'm pretty impressed, snapping now works like a charm and has opened up a ton of possibilities so kudos for the team on that one. One problem we have ran into is the limit of 1 jammer per base. Seeing as you can't build anything until a Jammer is placed, it leaves extremely vulnerable to attack, although a wall could be placed around to protect it I don't find this a satisfactory solution. As many of you know, building a jammer on a ground floor is not particularly a good idea. Will there be an option to either remove or move the existing Jammer so we can then secure it in our base? I think understand the reasoning behind limiting each base to 1 Jammer so I know increasing that limit isn't feasible. If anyone could provide some feedback I would be extremely grateful. Osiris72
My guess is that this will be left up to server admins to decide along with the jammer range and number of objects. There is a flag they can set to allow building without a jammer and values for the other parameters. However moving things after setting them would be nice in all cases KPABATOK and DayZ Vet
KingBlueSlims
Ok thanks. I'll see what Admin on the server I usually play on say about this.
One Eye
Or just play on the IronHorseGaming servers. They have custom scripts that let you pack up jammers, shelfs and teepees and redeploy them somewhere else. Great for redecorating. But yeah, should be part of the main epoch mod by default. http://ironhorsegaming.enjin.com/
Brez
Strange that the devlopers missed that functionality to move/remove jammers, tipi's and shelves. It was mentioned a while ago. Hope they get to it sometime.
