Chernarus epoch cars moving back after restart

Some people have been reporting this to us lately.

Some of their cars would go back to a previous location on each restart. For example, a friend of mine has an MTVR which he parks near NEAF.
Next restart (30mins after arrival), the MTVR is back at Lopatino, same shape and angle and location as before he touches it.


Same issue with some other people. Always tried moving them on different time frames, still end up with that weird glitch>>>


Any help?

1. Have a look in the DB for the MTVR and note the worldpace values.

2. Get the player to get in the MTVR and drive to someplace and then get out.

3. Have a look in the DB for the MTVR and see if the worldpace values have changed.

 

I suspect they have not.

 

As Carl101 said, check the client and server RPT files for any errors.

Thus having that SUV bug whic hI tried installing custom skins with, which does not work neither does the scroll version of it (A script someone posted to reskin cursortarget vehicle), I have not noticed any other bugs beside those trucks moving around.

Update: The coords do change (verifying with database and infistar)

The coords in-game stays the same sometimes even if the vehicle has moved (after restart, the vehicle is there)


And sometimes they do change.

Coords will change in game as soon as the vehicle moves. You need to check that that the vehicle is being updated to the database. Most likely not if they are reverting back to their position stored in the DB.

 

If spawned in they need to be spawned correctly so Epoch recognises them.
