Snakeyes
Greetings, I searched the forums and I could not find anything related to the topic. Is there any way to make the text messages colored? Specifically, I would like the server restart messages from the BEC scheduler to be red rather than white. Red text pops on the screen! While white text can be overlooked by players. ZENITHOVMAN
matrixmark
I've looked around for this for a long time. No one has ever come up with a solution.
Snakeyes
I don't know if it is possible. I just Googled for it using ArmA3 and I got nothing.
maddingamer
Hi, I think the color of the message is and will ever be white. But you can change the color and name of the "name" from server. e.g: SERVER: Bec (Global): Server restarts in 10mins. The "SERVER" Is the Windows username of the server and the color you can change somwhere in bec folders I think :)

The server messages are all I want to change the color for anyway.
Snakeyes
It could be related to this parameter in the BEC config. I'm not sure what a two digit color code represents? More common is RGB. ConsoleColor = 1f

Inside Config.cfg: Code: [Misc] Color = 1f Color = Hex Set custom color scheme for your Bec, value are hex, range is from 00 to FF. You can open CMD.exe and type example: color 1a (play around with the colors to find what you like best). This would be the best method to find out what colors you like instead of starting Bec up 100 times." cyncrwler

Snakeyes
Update " its not possible to change color. It's less obtrusive than a bright green or hot pink.
ZENITHOVMAN
@Snakeyes So where would one find said settings?
Snakeyes
As FogHorn stated a couple posts up on the thread, the text color cannot be changed because the color is set by ArmA 3 not by BEC.
