I'm not getting the option to pop up, and I have no mods installed. Haven't wiped the DB yet, but don't think that should matter. Or is that not an included feature? In my case, I have an idea in my head to build a tower, which I would want to build temporary stairs and platforms as a scaffolding to make it easier. I figure I could modify the remove script for sandbags, tank traps, etc, and have it so it takes 2 stages to take down (2 animation roles) with a possible chance of destroying either your tools or, if you placed down a wooden structure, the structure itself - in which case, a loot pile will be spawned where the part used to be with a fraction of the parts used to make it (stairs were 8 lumber, broken would be like 3) Tactical Ex 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Misplacing a modular object is a huge problem that isn't easy to correct. Also deconstructing builds to improve them or design them more effectively is very hard to do. I've sat for an inordinate amount of time with an axe trying to take one down. I haven't found a sledgehammer yet so I'm not sure if that does it better...but to be honest I should be able to deconstruct my own objects without a huge hassle. Right now its a huge hassle.
