Kind-Sir
I am one of the unfortunate few with a rather painful internet connection ( http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/2932914373 ) and sometimes I get incomplete downloads and archives that seem to be fine. I use wget to download anything that peaks my interest, however, they sometimes malfunction. With the newest update, I was unable to check to see if the archive I obtained was a legitimate archive or not due to not having a suitable method of comparing files. One way to overcome this problem is to check the md5 sum listed on the download page. There are many programs available to calculate the md5 checksum of a file. Thanks for reading!
