  1. There should always be a way to steal someones car. Just like in real life. If I had the proper tools I could go on a carjacking spree. In real life there would be consequences of course. This could be the same in Epoch. 

    I belive that's what the super rare car jack is for.... 

  2. Actually that's not a bad idea, but ... it would be need to be limited to several vehicles per person like one vehicles one chopper one boat... or something like that that way, trolls and assholes dont go around claiming every single god damn vehicle ... 

    The way you could do it is by using electrical components and some metal scraps...and boom car lock much like Door for bases.

So, I don't see why people complain about the Sappers and Cultists... maybe add more chances of them spawning depending on certain situations, but, I like the current way they have it they can pop up at any moment, and they always do when least expected. Most of my encounters with them have been pretty good, they do as they such see me they go for me, I kill them... done deal. One thing that could be done with sapper is increase them that way it's more of a threat in certain areas for example cities should have more of them around... Cultists to me are right on the money, they are difficult to kill and they are freaking creepy as fuck... 

    I had this idea that could be implemented some day adding another to the bunch of antagonists into the game called a psychopath (think leather face) That runs around with hatchets or chainsaws literally looking for people to kill some walking around cities talking to themselves that way you get a queue of what you have close by or places where it's very isolated like certain cabins... that are survivors but escaped mental patients ... or a mutated version of the mental patients... 

    You don't see that much mention of the shark,  maybe make them humanoid... ish to the point where they are like the mirelurks in Fallout 3, so they come out of the water and attack people if you get too close to the coast or if you're bleeding or something like that the smell would attract them. Thoughts? 

  4. The key point here. When it comes down to "surviving" key elements are, food/nutrients, water/hydration and maintaining body temperature. Now when you are are freezing & starving to death because these supplies are nearly non existant... are you going to just watch a fully dressed man walk by munching on a can of tuna? Doubt it. I think at that point an animal like instinct will develop in all of us and you will indeed kill for the means to survive.

     

    Note: If they wanted a PVE based mod, then killing players wouldn't be the key trigger to spawn certain antagonists.

    That's the whole point, I never said anything about not killing people .. the ROE still stand even in post apocalyptic world, you're a survivor of a mass extinction, so are others ... and sometimes you will have to kill people to survive (Be it just to take something they have) but the ROE still stand even this far ... Although killing people for no reason makes no sense in this MOD (Killing fresh spawn in spawn traders or killing a player that is nor armed and not a threat) and that's what people need to understand. You're the supposed to follow the story and I am sure the developers can agree to this...

  5. Epoch is both .... but people need to start to learn to role play, if you want the pvp go to Wasteland or the other mods Arma 3 has to offer... This is supposed to be about survival... Within the context of the story, of course .. Spawn killing people and doing all that shit that pisses people off when they are just trying to do their own things, I understand ... Yes there is going to be severe players interactions shootouts and what not over gear/loot that's fine, but people need to start role playing ... when everyone role plays it's more fun makes the game more immersive, like if youre going to go for people and kill them for their loot at least have it be out there in the playing field ... People need to understand this is about banding together and surviving make or breaking allegiances to survive ... Like when someone is decked out and you see a fresh spawn player 50 meters from the spawn trader and you just kill him ... See that's not okay. Even in times of apocalyptic survival the rules of engagement still stand and people should follow them if the person is no threat to you ... then why the fuck kill him, that just makes you an asshole, and ruins the game for a lot of the people... The mod is fun and should fun for everyone ... This is not wasteland, this is not king of the hill this is certainly not Battlefield or Call of Duty... Thank god for that shit BI (Love you guys) It is PVE and PVP, but the game is mainly PVE. 

    great job guys love the mod. Keep up the good work, you have my vote.

    I have tried ... from all positions, but I will try doing the foundation thing if not all try moving some of the walls around. see if that helps, I could record a clip... show you guys. 

  7. You saying maybe removing the wall that ... may be causing the error in positioning and placing it in another location... then placing the other wall back?  Could you please be more specific... 

  8. Okay, I know how to build... and to reply to those morons, it's not the best one ever. 

    Thing is I've built an entire foundation around my base using the snap building system and I just need 1 more wall so I can enclose the building....BUT... this one pesky wall does not want to stay up... it just falls over everytime I try to set it even with the snap building and I tried the free building mode as well...but neither work... I had this one situation where one wall fell over twice but I managed to set it after 2 tries of it falling over, but THIS ONE .... THIS ONE SPECIFIC FUCKING WALL... does not want to stay up it just falls over. for no reason because the site is LEVEL.

Hey guys, love the mod... rolls over breaking point like a fucking freight train, but I am having one issue thats really frustrating, for some reason some of the walls keel over like a drunk whore on christmas.... what can I do? ... I am using snap building and every so often this happens no matter what I do, snap buildings free building ... its really like uuuuuuuughhhhh makes me wants to punch to screen hahahaha ... I been gathering the supplies and what not and then this happens and cant progress.
