    BTW, a few other suggestions :

     

    1) The ability to shoot while a passenger. Being able to put a weapon out window and shoot. (It's already exist in some way with attachTo

    but i think it could be a better way ^^)

     

    2) Be able to move around in a vehicle big enough to walk around. Let's say you have a bus or a camper van, you should be able to walk around when it is stationary, and make thing like rest / storage thing / cooking / etc...

     

    3) Needing to open and close doors to get in. If I want to get in, I need to open my door. Or if I want to put stuff in the trunk, I need to open the trunk.

    4) Ability to remve vehicles doors. Removing the doors means you can get in faster, but have less protection. Like the guerilla pickup actually in ArmA 3

    Bohemia are already making the shooting out of windows themselves and it  should be on the dev branch pretty soon. Other things you talk about are actually very cool and i would LOVE to see them in game.

     

    Although i think that you will need a separate model for each of the doorless cars. So each car will have to be in 4 states regarding doors missing which will make it hard especially with multidoor vehicles.

  2. I think you can disable the nightstalker reticle. I think that you shouldnt remove the scope completely as its a very valuable piece of equipment ive always desired in arma 2. Although you can make it SUPER(and i mean ULTIMATELY) rare. Maybe it could spawn on some super rare bandit legend or at some very rare and hard mission. Thats a reward im ready to sacrifice myself for

  3. When i saw this i thought of how immersive Epoch can be. Although its pretty immersive already the Arma 3 sounds are "meh". This video gives me soundgasm ;_;

     

     

    Also there are some other demos (including vehicle demos)

     

     

    Is there ANY chance of making this compatible with epoch? It would be so cool

    Not even sure if its okay to post it here. I dont know where the pictures came from i just saw them in some arma community. I decided that other people might have some interest in this here :)

    P.S. How do you chop down trees with that small axe? Or this one is more of a weapon?

  5. Here's a show to my dedication. :lol:

     

    I managed to get the Arma 2 Guitar addon to work on Arma 3, and took all day putting together this to help my plea. I also retextured the guitar a bit.

     

    All addon credit goes to USSR Sniper of course.

     

    Imagine walking through the threatening world to come across this.

     

     

    The song list is "He was a Good Stalker" followed by an Unnamed guitar track from Metro 2033.

     

    10 points for the person who recognizes the line written on the Guitar. ;)

     

    Looks good so far, but you wont get anything as atmospheric as stalker in Arma :p

  6. What i really would like to see in Epoch (Or Dayz: SA) is a musical system simmilar to what Starbound has. It allows to insert your own music sheets into the game so you can play any music you want without making everyone download each others songs. I always was a fan of serious RP, so i always wanted for Dayz/Epoch to have more social elements and possibilities. As far as i see Dayz:SA is going in the right direction with the gestures but how far it will go is what matters the most...

  7. Even though you said there wont be zombies, i cant call theese creatures anything else than zombies :D ALthough it doesnt matter for me, ill be fine with anything. What amused me is the looting thing with the sofas. By the way, will we be able to get some kind of furniture for the bases? What Epoch really needs is a map other from the stock arma maps. It doesnt fit into the theme at all :(

  8. There is a map in development for quite  a while now. Its heavily STALKER inspired and has a very atmospheric posst-apocalyptic look to it so i think it would fit for Epoch perfectly.

    I would love to see this map eventaully come to life and come to Epoch. What do you guys think?

  9. Yea, it would be cool if there were craftable building parts that would serve more of a visual purpose that functional. E.g. Carpets, paintings, statues or something simmilar. You can also make some certain vanity building parts a rare drop somewhere, so if you find that one rare (i dunno what exactly though. But lets say its some cool and very rare road sign with some custom decal on it) building part and place it in front of your base for others to see the base building will get another curve to it. More things to do is always better.

  10. The problem is that as far as i saw on theese forums devs are aiming mostly on player interactions(which includes PvP) more than PvE, but this might be a nice idea. ALthough there are the old troubles left which only can be fixed by revising the humanity system :\
