Just getting home from work, I'm linked the post from awol about the sad turn of events that has occurred in regard to the demands for Epochs server files.  It saddens me that people like this exist and must resort to terrorizing a community to get something so silly as files for a mod.  Let us, In this time of darkness, raise above these bullies and press forward together, for through these trials a greater and stronger Epoch will be forged and a community strengthened.  To the Devs i say this, do not give into these bullies, fight the good fight and press forward.  You have done great work, even through the hard times and BS, you have never given up.  Remember everyone, through every dark night there's a bright new day after that.

People hacking never really made sense to me.  People are who they are and if they wanna hack hopefully karma will get them globally banned and never allowed to play Arma 3.  Also hoping that the Devs roll out a super anti hack that explodes the hackers computer too lol

I would say that if they released the server files now, it would have to be to people who applied and then interviewed with the devs.  They'd have to sign a contract agreeing to host a 100000000% vanilla epoch server along with serious (lawsuit legal repercussions) if they released the server files.  Plus any other terms and conditions.

for the negative things, here's my 2 cents
 
1. Haven't really noticed lag with a full server, but everyone's different. as for the clean up, this was in the 1.0.2 hotfix "[Optimize] Added cleanup on furniture, weaponholders, and Krypto devices every 20min if no players within 45m."
2. Hacking is bad but it's being addressed from what i can piece together
3. The stamina system seems fine, you start with little and the longer you live the more of a stamina pool you get. A nice little reward for staying alive :D.
4. The loot can be tough sometimes but personally doesn't seem that bad to me, still rare but not horribly common.
5. As for the mesh bugs... yea those are a problem especially when you start phasing thru walls and doors lol
