Block specific regions on this server

who does not know it ... Russian / Ukrain ip come on the server .... 90% it is a hacker ... I do not understand why it is my experience.

 

Is there a way to write a script that blocking regions?

You can do a region blacklist, don't know if there are already tools for that but can be done the same way as a GUID whitelister..

Not difficult to do so to block on the page level. Use a free geolocation service, such as http://www.ipinfodb.com

 

run this web service "http://api.ipinfodb.com/v3/ip-country/?key=my_key&ip=74.125.45.100" and get the country

 

then,

if (country = russian or ukraine)

   BLOCK IT!!!!
