Failed update 3.0.1.0 to 3.0.2.0

I have attempted an update from 3.0.1.0 to 3.0.2.0 on Linux.  I updated Arma 3 using steamcmd, used the sever installer files, copied over the client files, and copied over the config (I used diff to ensure nothing was introduced first).  I launched the server and the logs look clean.  When I connect the client hangs at the map of Altis.

I can't see anything in the logs but if you have debian or ubuntu you may want to try my server install script which does the most thing fully automatically and then copy back your settings. you could give that a try.

Use this checklist to do update:

 

1. @epoch Delete old Epoch client files or rename to @epoch-old. Upload new @epoch folder. Make sure that all files are lowercased, if you use linux.

2. @epochhive/addons. Replace a3_epoch_server.pbo and a3_epoch_server_settings.pbo with new one.

3. Epoch server config. Check epochah.hpp and epochconfig.hpp for updates with diff tool.

4. keys Upload new bikey to keys folder. Delete old if necessary.

5. Mission file. Extract new mission file. Check all files with diff tool, make changes if necessary. Repack and upload to server.

6. Battleye filters. Check all txt files with diff tool for changes. Upload changed files.

7. sc/config.cfg  Check config.cfg with diff tool for changes. Bump server version in title, if you use versions in title.

I'm in the same boat, not on linux though. Did all the above, checked it like 10 times but server wont start. Been all over the Epoch github and everything is up to date.

As is said, it will take you about 10 Minutes without the need of doing anything if you use this script:

 

 

Then you have complete fresh install. copy back your configs, mission file and hive addons and it's done
