Is there a way to stop vehicles from spawning

Hi,

 

I have a new server and I need to stop vehicles from spawning. I have the blackmarket trader script that allows you to buy vehicles instead. When I remove the vehicles from the allowedvehicleslist the server doesn't start. I assume it is because that is not where you edit it.

 

Any help would be great

Did you try to just 0 out the limits?

0 slots available will only allow temp vehicles to be purchased.

Not sure why the server wouldn't start, but 1man s suggestion could be your answer.

No I didn't, that would make a lot of sense actually :) 

I'm tired lol

Also do you think that will interfere with the blackmarket. When I set it to 1 to test it said I could buy any vehicles due to too many on the map

Well your best bet is to sell a bunch of vehicles so the database will see empty slots available. But I have not messed around with perm vehicle on the black market traders only rentals.

If you have slots in the config allowing vehicles those on the list will spawn in on restart.

allowing 0 vehicle slots means no vehicles on map every restart, also 0 vehicle slots will result in the blackmarket not allowing any full price Perm vehicle from being bought, only temp vehicles can be bought since Halv blackmarket follows epoch slots rules.

Ah ok that makes sense. I wish the two were separate because it means people can log in get all the vehicles, a lot spawn together, sell them and be rich after 20 mins of playing.

Try lowering the prices or charge high tax on vehicles. They will respect them more in the wild.
