para_spawn

Bags2247

Question

OK, so I finished reading the Changelog for 1.0.2.4...

Then re-read something that caught my eye there

[ADDED] dayz_paraSpawn = true now uses 1000m halo jumps for each login and fresh spawns.

After a couple of hours reading various sqf files and others, search the EPOCH FORUMS and Opendayz.net forums as well...And couldn't find out anymore info regarding this..

I'd like to enable it, but can't find the bastard file/section that I need to change..

Anyone point me in the right direction plzz

I haven't tested it yet but you have to put it in this section in your mission's init.sqf file:

// DayZ Epoch config

spawnShoremode = 1; // Default = 1 (on shore)

spawnArea= 1500; // Default = 1500

MaxHeliCrashes= 5; // Default = 5

MaxVehicleLimit = 1000; // Default = 50

MaxDynamicDebris = 300; // Default = 100

dayz_MapArea = 14000; // Default = 10000

dayz_maxLocalZombies = 30; // Default = 30

dayz_tameDogs = true;

DZE_BuildingLimit = 1500;

DZE_BackpackGuard = false;

dayz_paraSpawn = true

You can. Tho it seems a bit Buggy. Sometimes players spawn close to the ground... too close to trigger the parachute and just splat on the ground.

Oh and you ALWAYS spawn via halojump... not just freshspawns... wich makes base walls pretty useless since you can simply loggout next to the walll, logg back in and do a nice and smoth halojump over the walls, take everything you can get and again halojump your butt out of there.
