Yeah really annoying... and they never stop following you! XD
Also, this morning I was killed by one with just one bite!
It's true that some race of dogs have the strongest bite of all animals on Earth, but it's a bit too much! ;)

Especially when they get to you without making any sound (they bark in the distance then sometimes they just get to you without making any sound running on the ground... and my effects volume is really high so I am sure it's not at all audible).

 

And sometimes none appears... other times they just keep aggroing me like I were a human piece of beacon running around :P

 

Anyway... the concept is nice and I think they will be great when fixed.

+1 dogs need neutering i hit kill is a bit op

2-3 hit kills would be ok. so you can seperate the friendly dogs from the bad ones. I don't want to kill every dog i see just because he might be aggressive. :'(

I had 2-3 dogs chasing me so I decided to cross some players to get the dogs to chase them instead of me. At one point a dog was about 15m from a player outside the house I was in but the dog didn't go after him. Same thing not long after when two players passed by the house the dog didnt even flinch.

So I went out on the porch to test them, he (the only one standing in view right downstairs from the porch) didn't move... so I went back inside, hid for about a minute then really slowly walked out the back door away from the house without any dogs following. Once I got about 50-70m away I started jogging and all the dogs at the house started barking and relentlessly chasing me again.

So I concluded they probably have an "Engage marker" on me and can probably hear me from 100m+ so once they get a track on me it follows me for some time even if they have no chance of spotting / seeing me. I'm not sure though.

I had two dogs chasing me last night. I was afraid they would give away my position so I decided to shoot them. One of them stayed friendly and the other bit me and I died. I was angry because I had just found a light machine gun. So I went back to loot my corpse. The one dog that bit me was standing there guarding it. I went up to the corpse and the dog BIT ME AGAIN lol. I died. My friends laughed at me. Then I just turned off my computer and went to sleep.
