Request for sound

Might be over the top - but a sound of rushing compressed air when you open a pelican case would be cool. Totally unnecessary but would be awesome - could also add a bit of smoke puff when opening as well :P

its just a plastic hard case...what on earth would be the reason for compressed air and smoke? 

 

 

I suggested a while back to add the swarm of flies sound from a2 epoch dead bodies to play/follow a player when their soil gets to say above 25....     now that would be hilarious and useful :D

That just a stock a2 sound not epoch

duh,   which is why it would be easy to implement... and it was used in a2 epoch so why not add it to a trigger from your soil level???

Sound is a great way to add atmosphere and not difficult to add. Have been looking at the stock Arma 3 sounds recently to see what I can use. Expect more sounds to be added.

I'm sure this is in the works, but I was just saying in another thread that it would be useful if your character made some grunting noises or something when taking damage, especially from dogs and snakes.  I didn't like the way your character made noises in DayZ Epoch, it was just way over the top and other players could here it from... well, too far away.  But, it's nice to know if you're taking damage, especially if something sneaks up on you and you have no idea it's gnawing on your ankle.

It's my hope that JSRS is added to a future revision.  It adds so much to Arma games!

+1 for sound mod support, although it looks like JSRS hasn't been updated in a while and still has a lot of issues, speed of sound is a far superior alternative in my opinion and the devs are extremely active.
