Richie
Hey guys and ladies, What's the average price for a 32 slot (unlicensed) TS server ? I have a Gbit server that i was thinking of chopping up and selling it as multiple TS servers, the HDD is too small for anything else really. If anyone has a NPL license i don't mind adding that so you get 500 slots for the same price. Answers on a postcard :)
MGT
If you have a server with rdp access, 32 slots is free to install.
Richie
If you have a server with rdp access, 32 slots is free to install. If you have access then it's piss easy to setup, some clans rent pre-setup servers from GSP's and they don't have any abilities to setup extra software like Teamspeak. I've had this server for years and i'm trying to find a use for it, If i can save some clans a few £ then i'll setup multiple instances of TS3 for them to use, 1 Gbit connection can do 10 servers easy and still have bandwidth available. I might even get a few beers from it :)

Richie
yeah well, good luck findin someone stupid enough to send you his NPL licence... I've got access to lots :p I even my have own and they can be easily changed, what would i gain by trying to steal peoples NPL ? they'd get revoked in hours so it's pointless. Richie
Problem is, on a server you can only have 1 instance of TS without a licence. 1 per IP and i have 12, I've had the server for many years when IP's were free and easy to get. It only has a 250GB HDD though so VOIP will be ideal. I was thinking somewhere in the range of £5 per month would be reasonable, each instance would have a cron job running to check it's working and restart automagically if it even crashed. Defent
You can apply for a 100(?) slot licence as long as your site has no commercialized wares on it, like donations etc. This could take time though and is often limited. But it's free. I saw it on the teamspeak website a few years ago I believe and I think its still there. http://www.multiplaygameservers.com/ Usually have a good deal on voice servers.
