How to setup?

Hello there,

This is the thrid time i have freshly installed Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA. Every other time, dayz hasn't worked as it either said "You were Kicked" or a list of all my original addons stating that they needed to either be removed or have keys supplied??

 

So now that i have a fresh install of both games which i have now combined into Arma CO. Im not sure which versions of what i need? Please can someone please help me out, i have teamspeak if you think thats easier and teamviewer.If not pls list what i need to do... Sorry for this inconvenience, im new to Dayz Epoch! Looks like a great game!

I couldn't tell if you had DayZ Commander already when i read your story, if you haven't:

 

1. Download DayZ Commander (dayzcommander.com).

2. Click on Install/Update (right uptop).

3. Install the latest patch of Arma 2: 103718

4. Scroll down untill you see: "DAYZ EPOCH 1.0.4.2" 

5. Click on install.

Do i need to run the games before hand?

Yes, run Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA once otherwise it won't show up in DayZ Commander.

Where it says  to install the latest patch, it says Not Found next to arma 2?

Yes, i ran both games, then as you said, I restarted Dayz Commander and still syas  "NOT FOUND" next to Arma 2.

And Yes both games are linked to the right directory, both games are in  the same directory.

Hmm, not sure what's the problem than,but is your game from steam or..?

No i have bought the Disks of Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA

Should i manually install patch 103718? Or should i get the latest patch 112555?

You should try going with "103718" ince that is the leatest patch on DayZ Commander and everything works fine there.

No, if you've DayZ Epoch and 103718 installed then you are ready to go!

That means that some Arma 2 (OA) files are missing. If u were on steam this would be very easy, but I'm not sure about the disks..

Wtf?! What u mean by using disks? You bought used game from another player who sold it you? I know Arma 2 + OA is just by BI Store as NON-Steam or Steam. So it's downloadable install from their page if you mean non-steam version.
