Moved to a dedicated server

Question

So we had a server at Vilayer for few months and now we moved to a dedicated machine. Everything else is working fine except everything that is inside the server.pbo. I've theseted all scripts in-game and they are working fine but for example infistars antihack (which is in server.pbo) isn't working. I can see it loading in server.RPT but it doesn't work in-game. I tried installing an Epoch server on my own computer using the same method (mission.pbo and server.pbo+database) and it's working fine.

 

Any suggestions?

Okay this is weird. I noticed that I hadn't added the mission.pbo on the server I hosted on my computer. When I moved the mission.pbo on that one the antihack and server.pbo stuff stop working. :o

It is there. I just did a fresh server install but anything that I edit inside server.pbo isn't working. Mission.pbo related scripts etc are working fine but it's just the server.pbo... I tried a VPS a few weeks ago and I remember it had the same problem. It's still weird that I can get everything to work on my home computer.

Did you change something in your AH ? i see errors there

Also you are missing file: dayz_server\compile\server_playerCharacters.sqf

Also in your dayz_server\system\server_monitor.sqf i see errors.

 

I think your biggest problem is in your AH.sqf or your AHconfig.sqf

Check your AH around line : 3562

Maybe you added something there and forgot to add a closing ;

 

Or check your AHconfig.sqf....see you if you forgot a closing " at your UIDS or something.

I think somewhere in your days_server you tweaked something and forgot to close a quote or a comma, breaking everything after that.

I didn't add anything to my AH.sqf. That's is just a fresh update from infistar. Oh and I forgot to delete that playrCharacters file. I was using the multi character script but deleted it. I guess I forgot to delete that file. This looks very weird to me.

Does anyone know what is causing that error in server_monitor.sqf? Because I'm using the default Epoch server files.

 

EDIT* I jsut noticed that I'm not getting those server_monitor errors if I launch the server from the .bat file. I'm using firedaemon to launch everything so I guess that is causing the problem.

I'm getting freaking tired of this. I just can't see what's the problem. I just redownloaded ARMA2 and OA, putted them to my server file, readded the server and client files from epochforums and installed the antihack. Still isn't working.

We moved from a Dayz.st host to a dedicated box and canr get anything working.

 

we dove in at the deep end getting our dedi (no experience with hosting games servers)

which was dumb i know, but we had to.

 

and i can't get anything working followed a crap load of guides to no avail.

 

our dayz.st has now been shutdown and we need to get our dedi running the epioch server ASAP for the regular players.

 

we have all the DB's from dayz.st and stuff but just cant get it working on the new server.

 

need someone to help me or do it for me if possible.

i am techinical so can follow instructions but im obviously missing soemthing.

 

i just need it running, i can take tiem to learn later but i need help ASAP.

 

please let me know if you would be willing to help.

 

i can pay if neccessary.
