Hello everyone,  

 

I run a epoch cherno server and on a hourly basis I get 5-10 players trying to connect with my server but all I see is:

 

"xxxxxxxxxxxx: You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.aif_arma1buildings, kpfswaysigns, buildings3, dayz_ep."

 

Then the player leaves.

 

I do have players that don't have any issues and play all the time.

 

Is this something I can fix server side or is it a client issue?

if you have players connecting and playing, any only some are receiving that error, it's client side. Maybe players incorrectly launching Epoch etc..

in mission.sqm add this line under addons:

"aif_arma1buildings",

Hey Guys,

 

got a similar issue on my Server, but theres written:

So now the same question. Does anyone know how to fix that or is this a client side issue?

ok that didnt seems to fix the issue,  

 

I added "aif_arma1buildings",

 

to my mission.sqm  file but its still doing it

I am also hosting at Vilayer and I have the same problem. 5-10 people per day try to connect but they get the same issue.

Anyone found a fix yet ?

But lets just look at this logically...

We do not have any special files.. We do not control the content of what files you get from commander for the epoch mod.

If you can join the server.. .and other people can join the server... HOW would Vilayer somehow make files disappear from other players game files on their computer?

The reason that some players get that error is that they have issues with their game files. Their client downloaded and installed files on their computers.

If you are getting this problem its just people joining with the wrong content/mod. It happens all the time on our server yet we get plenty of people joining, our vilayer server has filled up to 30 players before without problem. If you know who is having problems joining, have them re-download there client files and it should fix it.

So according to Vilayer i just put the message:"please redownload your game files in order to play on this server" in the server name and it will fill with

players ? Genius, why didn't i think about this earlier xD

I've come to expect no less from Vilayer,   I asked them a question once about an issue i was having so they deleted my whole server and said  "There you go, now you wont have the issue anymore"

Not sure how this is Vilayer's issue though. Like others have said, if some are able to connect to the server, then it's a client-side issue.

PLEASE HELP ME .map_eu, dayz_anim, dayz_code, dayz_communityassets, dayz_wepons, dayz_equip . somewhere it say that this hapens when you dont have chernarus map i tryed playing it on editor and it worked but on the servers it wont(i tryed on standard dayz NOT epoch)
