Falconsan typically always updates Sauerland, they are probably just waiting to sync a time closer to releasing 1.0.5 with a steady version of Sauerland.

Our server made Skallisty a "Origins' Sector B" idea, lots of AI to kill and killer loot inside a prison.
Workin on the sharks with frikin laser beams!

I am assuiming so the game takes ur "currency" at face value from your inventory. Or that the Epoch devs have not added a "rate" for the current in game gems.
The old trading way is a "Face value" trading system, the new way breaks down what you have in your inventory so it can give change when purchasing items.

BUy a bike for a few silver, and ride the countryside(mid and North) for fresh helis/ospreys!
cycle the tents at Stary if its a safe zone.

I would think once they are within "x" distance they can climb no matter what is in the way.

So I had tried several 1/4 floors on a ladder... one hovering a couple steps above the ground, one at waist height and one probably about chest/chin height. Tried them individually as well as all three at once. Zombies ran right up the ladder, walked a couple more steps and then hopped up on the ladder. So that doesn't appear to be it, I guess.
I have never seen a zombie be able to walk into a base room ( elevated floor + sandbags under floor edges +4 walls) though... so maybe if I build a small 1x1 room at the base of the stairs with a small stairway going up to the door, that'd prevent them from using the ladder AND give ME access to the ladder. Hmmmmm... maybe....
I doubt a 1/4 floor is large enough to restrict their access to the ladder menu, try a full floor with the ladder centered in it.

My server has the SVD NSPU on it.
but the M110 IMO is the best day/night sniper followed closely by the DMR.

I first noticed it when I could shoot a half concrete wall all day with a rocket launcher, but as soon as I upgraded it, it became vulnerable to destruction
Did you get this sorted out?
seems as though since the half wall made it through a restart it became indestructible, but once its "upgraded" the half wall no longer exists, and the full wall replacing it needs to go through a restart to become indestructible.
Side note,
Sorry I think its silly that you have wood structures indestructible, but to each his own.
Also, what about metal panels?

Each map has a bunch of unused traders that could easily be added onto any map.
Inventory would already be in place, just reference your Epoch.SQF file.

I see you guys added in some DZE versions of BTRs and whatnot.
How about DZE version of these:
"HMMWV_Armored" - (camo with M240 mounted w.shield)
"HMMWV_M2" - (Camo with open M2 mounted)
Also a weapon that would be cool to be added(or addable):
"PK" - shows in game as PKM(non scoped PKP) - currently eats backpacks!

Yes the admin should have been to blame, but there are different types of admins out there.
Perhaps you should find a server where the admins post important information that will be changing.
and its doubtful that the safes will be chaging back to 50 anytime in the near future.
Make a "Safe" room in your base, triple cinder walls, with 20 lockboxes inside, then you can hold like 400 guns :)

Perhaps the server has some antihacks that are outdated and kicking for that specific gun.

Try to have some regular players playing, help them figure things out, be consistent.
Offer some thing original.

By default Cinders have Never been sold anywhere but Wholesalers, unless added in by server admin team.

We have the missions and cinders for 7gold on ours!
missions get you a ton quickly!

I think what Schultz is trying to say is replace the brick building with the one that you can enter in regular DayZ.

Another question that has come to mind ;) will the loot table file be included in the mission files or will we have to build a custom one? If it is custom how do we go about making the file? As in what goes into that file as in structure?
Been discussed plenty before.

The way the other maps work(outside of chernarus) is that you must have the map downloaded in order to play it with Epoch.
Also you must add a launch parameter to dayzcommander when joining the epoch servers.
for instance:
-mod=@taviana
or
-mod=@dayzsauerland

Not entirely maca,
The main thing with Epoch and maps are the trader cities. If Falconsan is fully aware of where they are he can easily work around them and update the map as he sees fit. It will just be up to the server owners and clients to be in coordination with each other.
